ARSTank: Giving Back
This year we launched ARSTank, a company program giving our employees the opportunity to present the causes they are most passionate about. Every cycle a winner was chosen and ARS made a donation. Take a moment to read about the people and causes below.
- Golden Tampon was founded in 2017 by Shanda Golden and is now an annual event that distributes tampons and pads for homeless women. You can contact them directly at [email protected] or 775-331-1001 for ways to participate. Click here to learn about Golden Tampon.
- Sergeant Damon Gutzwiller proudly served the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office since 2006. Sergeant Gutzwiller was lost to his family and community on June 6, 2020. Damon was a beautiful person who cared most about his family. He leaves behind a wife and the loves of his life Carter, their 2 year old son and Lucia, born June 2020. - 4Ocean has teams cleaning oceans, rivers and coastlines in Indonesia, Haiti, Guatemala and South Florida. With their crews working seven days a week they’ve pulled 12,080,475 pounds since 2017. - Safe Haven serves women and children leaving situations of domestic violence in Placer County and surrounding areas. You can volunteer, donate items from their wish or provide alternate donations. Click here to learn more about Safe Haven.
We feel lucky to have staff who find joy in supporting their community and take the time to educate others about the importance of the efforts. We look forward to continuing this program in 2021.
