Rob Awalt

Founder & President

Rob Awalt serves as President of Allegiant Reverse Services, which he founded in 2016. He has built a distinguished career in the title and settlement industry beginning in 2001 and transitioned fully into the reverse mortgage industry in 2003.

Rob’s real estate career began in 1999 after his retirement from the National Football League, when he founded Granite Exchange Services, a 1031 exchange intermediary. He has been a member of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association Board since 2020 and has been recognized across the industry and featured in various professional publications and forums.

   

Tina Meilinger

Senior Vice President,
Risk and Escalations

Tina Meilinger serves as Senior Vice President, Risk and Escalations for Allegiant Reverse Services. In her role, she works closely with settlement and title teams, clients, National Underwriting, and Legal Counsel to support operational excellence and resolve complex matters across the organization.

Tina began her career in the title and settlement industry in 1981 and has extensive experience in commercial, industrial, residential, and subdivision transactions. Since 2003, she has specialized in the reverse mortgage industry, bringing decades of expertise and leadership to the field.

She is multi-state licensed and holds key leadership roles, including Chair of the Risk and Compliance Committee and member of the Ethics Committee, and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association.

   

Megan Awalt

Senior Vice President,
Client Strategy

Megan Awalt serves as Senior Vice President, Client Strategy at Allegiant Reverse Services. With nearly two decades of experience in the reverse mortgage and closing industry, she leads client strategy and relationship management initiatives focused on delivering exceptional service, operational efficiency, and customized settlement solutions.

Since entering the industry in 2007, Megan has overseen business development, client services, and strategic partnerships, working closely with operations teams to streamline processes and ensure files are closed accurately and efficiently. She serves as a trusted liaison between clients and ARS, helping foster long-term partnerships and responsive communication.

Megan has been featured in multiple industry publications, served as a speaker at national conferences, and conducted numerous training sessions focused on reverse mortgage title and settlement solutions.

   

Adan Gutierrez

Assistant Vice President,
Director of Operations

Adan Gutierrez serves as Assistant Vice President, Director of Operations of Allegiant Reverse Services and brings more than 15 years of experience in the reverse closing and mortgage industry. Since 2009, he has established himself as a respected industry trainer, regularly conducting classes on title and settlement complexities specific to reverse mortgage transactions.

At ARS, Adan manages the Client Solutions department, acts as a liaison between sales and clients, and contributes as a key member of the management team to support efficient daily operations.

Carrie Martinez

Director of Production

Carrie Martinez serves as Director of Production for Allegiant Reverse Services, where she oversees production operations and supports workflow efficiency across the organization.

She began her career in the title and escrow industry in 1993 and has built extensive experience in title operations, vendor relations, customer service management, and operational oversight. Her adaptability, industry knowledge, and collaborative approach make her a valued member of the Allegiant Reverse Services leadership team.

Jake Poindexter

Funding and Audit Department Manager

Jake Poindexter serves as Funding and Audit Department Manager at Allegiant Reverse Services. With nearly two decades of experience in the mortgage industry, Jake has been a dedicated reverse title and settlement professional since 2007 and played a key role in helping launch ARS in 2016. He leads a team responsible for auditing executed loan documents, disbursing lender proceeds, coordinating closely with the various departments and teams to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, Jake authored a CRMP-certified webinar on wire fraud prevention.

Nicole Sheldon

Support Services Group Manager

Nicole Sheldon serves as Support Services Group Manager for Allegiant Reverse Services. With more than 30 years of experience in the title and escrow industry, she has developed extensive expertise in both IT systems and financial operations. Known for her ability to bridge technical and accounting functions, Nicole brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to her work and is a valued resource to the ARS team.
