Happy Earth Day: What can you do to make a difference?
Making a difference doesn’t require you to change every aspect of your life, every act makes a positive change in our environment. One way to help our planet is by reducing your waste and limiting the use of single-use plastic.
Below are four products to kick start your efforts:
- Invest in a reusable straw. Click here to view straw options for every lifestyle.
- Switch to reusable silicon storage bags. Dishwasher, microwave and oven safe options!
- Use beeswax food wrap instead of plastic wrap. Click here to learn about the pros and cons of beeswax food wraps.
- Purchase mesh or cotton produce bags to use while you are grocery shopping.
Click here to visit 4Ocean, an organization dedicated to ocean cleanup across the world. 4Ocean is currently working on a cleanup project in Haiti where they strive to pull 3000 pounds of plastic and trash from the ocean and coastlines each day. Support the cause by purchasing one of their bracelets. Each bracelet is made from recycled glass and plastic gathered during their cleanup projects. Every bracelet purchase funds the cleanup of 1 pound of trash from the ocean and coastlines.
